Yesterday I wrote about all the dots in my house. Coincidentally, Boyfriend also emailed me the coolest link with even more dots! (I saw it on twitter a couple of times also) One of my favourite artists, Yayoi Kusama has a little bit of a dot fetish as well. She has made the most insane installations and they are always covered in dots (you can check her work here). This December she made an installation called ‘The Obliteration Room’ and it is both crazy and ridiculously amazing. Within a large space, Yayoi constructed a domestic setting with chairs, tables, plants and even a piano and everything was white, white, white.
Then she gave coloured dot stickers to each child that visited the museum and they were allowed to put their stickers any place they wanted. And here’s what happened:

Mijn zus woont in Brisbane en is daar afgelopen week geweest. Hilarisch zei ze. Ik heb volgende week ook een blogpost gemaakt hiervoor. Dit WIL je toch ook in Nederland.
Het wat leuk dat je even bij mij komt kijken! Dit wil ik idd heeeeel graag ook in NL zien! In 2008 had ze een overzichtstentoonstelling in het Boijmans, dus misschien kunnen zij ook ff regelen dat we deze hier krijgen… (fingers crossed)
Was ik ook al ergens tegengekomen, gaaf hè!! Ik zal je maar niet aanraden het thuis te proberen, want daar zijn al best wel wat stippen zag ik net
Mijn nieuwste aanwinst is overigens (weer) een stippenjurk!
