I finally had some time on my hands. So I decided to put it to good use. I have a pile of Mini t-shirts laying around, that are waiting to be altered. Since I don’t have a lot of time right now, I stick with altering rather than making at the moment! I did two fairly fast t-shirts. One inside-out (andersom) t-shirts and one with flock foil.
The blue shirt was the easiest, I drew a little anchor on a piece of paper and cut it out. Then taped it to the flock foil and cut it out again. I used this tutorial by Miestaflet. Her explanation is really easy. Then I did the ‘andersom’ t-shirt (my translation: inside-out). I got the idea from MaandagDaandag who made a great guitar t-shirt for her son Rover. The instigator of the andersom t-shirt is Sigrid. She made this tutorial. It’s really helpful. I used a elephant printed fabric and traced the actual elephant on the fabric and then blew it up. I love this technique, I have at least 20 more ideas for t-shirts like this!
