I Was There

Yeah, my Christmas break is already over. And even though it’s my first day working again, I’m already reminiscing about the sweet times gone by…. 😉 I hardly did anything I planned to do in advance. Instead I planned to do as little as possible with a few exceptions here and there.

One exception being my museum visit in Eindhoven with Iris. A lovely day with good art, good food and spent in such good company! First we visited the Van Abbe Museum where I found out how nice it is to go to a Modern Art museum with someone who actually knows a little about this stuff as well. I think we both loved the El Lissitsky exhibition the most. I loved the 3D reconstructions of his work. So fascinating to see a drawing translated to life size scale. Stuff like that definitely gets my art heart beating faster…

And since we were in Eindhoven, we couldn’t pass up on a visit to concept store You Are Here. Such a gorgeous space, you instantly start drooling over all the pretty stuff. And every three months or so, they change the whole store according to a theme. It was pretty hard to put our cameras down!
